Working together with my good friends Sandra Chau and Trille Floral, this editorial was about exploring different colour combinations.

This shoot us an opportunity to create without the restraints of a client brief or the time crunch of a wedding. We kept the shoot quite simple and light hearted – It all started by us choosing a colour that we wanted to explore. This year we started by visiting a paint store together to choose colours for the backdrops we would be shooting on. Then we talked about different ways to play with that colour by adding in different textures, tones, props, and angles. Each colour story is like a mini shoot. There’s generally a loose plan of what shots we would like to get but mostly we are all free to experiment with our mediums on the day and create some beautiful imagery for our portfolios.
