This bridal editorial shoot took place on the beautiful historic Hopewood House Residence; the private estate & home of – Janet Storrier, family and friends.
Considered a ‘Grand Estate’ of the Southern Highlands there is an immense history to this property that was first established in 1884 for pastorialist Ben Osborne and his wife Lucy Throsby.
Some words from Lil Elements Design:
“There’s beauty within the Winter months which doesn’t get shown much because we all want that airy light wedding day. But not all weddings will have that sunny day and some days will be unpredictable especially in those Winter months.
We wanted to inspire brides out there that rainy, cloudy days can be as beautiful as any other day. It can be created into a moody delicate yet romantic atmosphere. The venue at Hopewood House is stunning, when you have a beautiful venue, you can keep the decor minimal. Using lots of blue and navy shades with a touch of white and gold creates a nice subtle pop of colour for a Winter’s wedding.”
